My heart, and my taste buds, want to go with 5 stars but I like this place too much to not be constructive. The food is awesome! The banana split is enough for two people as a meal and it’s delicious. The fires are golden too! Fudge cake = The staff is friendly and the service is quick. It is cash only which I find as a negative these days. Also, the seating area get crowded since it’s really popular in the summer and they’ve packed in picnic tables. The grounds could use regular maintenance. Wouldn’t take much to keep it tidy. I would certainly recommend visiting and enjoying ice cream during a lake day!

Spontaneously decided to stop here for lunch and dessert. Let me tell you it was the right decision!!! The staff is friendly and very helpful. My guess is this is a family run business and most employees are part of the family. Just a guess... Today we ordered the Steak and Cheese Sandwich, Fried Bologna Sandwich, and Onion Rings. The Steak and Cheese Sandwich was delicious! Probably the second best we've ever had. Fried Bologna Sandwich had a nice, thick cut of bologna and was cooked perfectly. The onion rings we're very tasty. For dessert we got a hot fudge sundae with nuts, whipped cream, and cherry, and a chocolate-cherry milkshake. Again, very tasty! The prices are extremely reasonable for the portion (and flavorfullness) you get. Wel6l definitely be going back!

** Putting this up front so people are aware. This is a CASH ONLY business** Stopped in here for lunch on my way to the lake. I grabbed a double cheeseburger deluxe, onion rings and mozzarella sticks. The mozz sticks were okay, the double cheeseburger was frozen patties, but they were super thick patties and the onion rings were probably the best part of the meal. It was $20 for everything, and honestly that a pretty good price for what ya get. So you get quantity not quality here and that's okay!! As long as you get one or the other it's worth it depending on what you're looking for Double Cheeseburger Deluxe - 6.5/10 Mozzarella Sticks - 7/10 Onion Rings - 8/10

What a hidden gem!! I am so happy we found it, and they have real chocolate soft serve! It is not a swirl of flavoring. I posted the pictures of our lunch. Sorry folks, I was so excited about the ice-cream...it was too late when I remembered. It was delicious!

Wow, We stop in today 8/21 had a couple burgers, Well one double and one single cheese Burger/ff&onion rings and don't forget chocolate shake . Let me say that was the best tasting food , byfar for small business So good the wife finished it off with a hot fudge Sunday. It looked tasty I my say . Keep up the good food and great staff and people will come ....JH.......NB campers Thks.....
